What is Island Baby Rentals Bahamas?

Island Baby Rentals Bahamas provides clean, safe, high-quality baby and beach gear for families traveling to The Bahamas. We rent cribs, strollers, car seats, highchairs, toys, and beach essentials — so you can travel light and arrive stress-free knowing your baby’s gear is ready when you are.

Where do you deliver?

We offer delivery and pickup throughout Nassau & Paradise Island and all major Family Islands, including Exuma, Eleuthera, Harbour Island and Abaco.

How does delivery work?

We make delivery as simple and convenient as possible:

  • Hotels & Resorts
    If your hotel allows, we can usually drop off your rental items to the bell desk before your arrival, so they’re so they are available for collection once you check-in. Hotels will not allow access to your room before you check in for us to deliver the items to your room.

    Note that some properties — including The Coral and Harbourside at Atlantis — do not allow guest deliveries to the bell desk.
    In these cases, you’ll simply meet our driver in front of the hotel lobby at a scheduled time to collect your items.
  • Airbnb & Vacation Rentals
    For private homes or Airbnb stays, we can often coordinate with your host or property manager to deliver and set up your items before you arrive (host details will need to be provided and access granted).

We’ll always confirm your delivery details in advance to ensure a smooth, stress-free arrival.

How does collection work?

When your rental period ends, collection is handled with the same care and flexibility as delivery:

  • Hotels & Resorts
    Items can not be left in hotel rooms, as our drivers do not have room access. Guests must return all rental items as agreed (i.e. bell desk, directly to our driver at the arranged meeting spot).
  • Airbnb & Vacation Rentals
    If we delivered directly to your host or property manager, collection will typically occur the same way the items were delivered. We’ll confirm pickup time and access details before your departure.

How are rental days calculated?

All rentals are charged by the day, not by the night.
For example, a booking from December 21 – 27 counts as 7 rental days.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible — especially during holidays and peak travel seasons (December–April).
Family Island rentals must be booked at least 14 days in advance and for a minimum 7-day rental period.

What types of baby and beach gear do you rent?

We offer a wide range of items, including:

  • Full-size cribs, travel cots, and play yards
  • Car seats and booster seats
  • Strollers and joggers
  • Highchairs and feeding chairs
  • Bath tubs, monitors, and toys
  • Beach essentials (tents, wagons, umbrellas, etc.)

    All items are cleaned, sanitized, and safety-checked before each rental.

Is there a delivery fee?

Delivery and pickup fees vary by location and order size. For Nassau/Paradise Island, most deliveries are a flat rate.
Family Island orders may include delivery surcharges, which would be communicated before booking.

What if my plans change? Can I cancel my order?

Yes! You can cancel your order before your scheduled delivery date.

  • Full refund if cancelled at least 7 days before delivery.
  • 50% refund if cancelled 3–6 days before delivery.
  • No refund for cancellations within 48 hours of delivery

How do you clean and sanitize your gear?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. All items are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and inspected after each use using baby-safe, non-toxic products. Crib linens are laundered in hypoallergenic detergent and sealed for delivery.
