4. Ft. Fincastle (entrance fee $3) - Snap photos with old cannons, get a 360 view of the city of Nassau and explore an old fort used to protect the island from pirates! The fort was constructed from limestone cut out to create the Queens Staircase which is 2 mins away and has no additional cost.

5. Craft Cottage (free) - Shop over 100 local artisans and find authentically Bahamian souvenirs like straw hats, Androsia stuffed animals or goombay onesies!

6. Junkanoo rush out (free) - Twice a week at Marina Village experience a sample of the annual Bahamian street festival Junkanoo. Lots of vibrant music, dance and colourful costumes!

7. Pirates of Nassau Museum (entrance fee adults $13.50 children $6.75) - Take a step back in time and learn all about the infamous Pirates of Nassau. Ahoy mate!

8. Clifton Heritage National Park (walking tour entrance fee adults $22 children $5.50) - Explore the sacred space art exhibit and take a walking tour of an old slave village at the Bahamas' largest heritage park. When done, enjoy Jaws Beach just a few minutes away.
